中国第二次全国古树名木资源普查结果显示，中国散生古树的树龄主要集中在100-299年间，共有98.75万株，树龄在300-499年的有16.03万株，树龄在500年以上的有6.82万株，其中，1000年以上的古树有10745株，5000年以上的古树有5株。

According to China's second national census of ancient and famous trees, the majority of ancient trees in the country are between 100 and 299 years old, totaling 987,500 trees. There are also 160,300 trees between 300 and 499 years old, as well as 68,200 trees that are over 500 years old. Among these, 10,745 trees are more than 1,000 years old, and 5 trees are more than 5,000 years old.

黄帝手植柏

Cypress Planted by the Yellow Emperor

黄帝手植柏是黄帝陵古柏群中最古老的一株侧柏，相传为轩辕黄帝所栽，粗壮的树干七个人手拉着手合抱不拢。

This tree is the oldest arborvitae among the cypress trees in the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor. It is said to have been planted by the Yellow Emperor, and its trunk is so thick that seven people holding hands together would not be able to enclose it.

保生柏

Baosheng Cypress

保生柏位于轩辕庙西前院祭祀文化展室和书画展室之间，是元代保生宫火毁后的唯一“幸存者”和“见证者”。

Named after the former site of Baosheng Palace, this tree is the only survivor of and witness to the fire that destroyed Baosheng Palace during the Yuan Dynasty.

老君柏

Laojun Cypress

据传汉武帝北征朔方得胜归来，在祭祀轩辕黄帝后，听闻古商道葫芦河畔有“老君神庙”，遂焚香祭拜，庙前植柏，以此铭志，赐名“老君柏”。

It is said that in 110 BC, Emperor Han Wudi returned from a northern expedition to Shuofang. Hearing about the Laojun Temple standing on the bank of the Hulu River, he paid a visit there and planted this tree in the temple as a symbol of his aspirations.

仓颉手植柏

Cypress Planted by Cang Jie

这株古树相传为象形文字的创造者仓颉亲手栽植。

According to the legend, this cypress tree was planted by Cang Jie, the creator of ancient Chinese hieroglyphics.

洛南古柏

Luonan Ancient Cypress

洛南古柏又名“页山古柏”，是秦岭发现的最大古侧柏，被列入洛南八大景观之一。

Also named “Yeshan Ancient Cypress”, this remarkable tree is the largest ancient arborvitae ever found in the Qinling Mountains, and is listed in the “Eight Scenic Spots of Luonan”.
